Alex Ramirez was an ordinary 14-year-old high school student living in New York City within the parallel universe known as Earth-290907. His life took an unexpected turn during a school field trip to the renowned Oscorp laboratories. Alex was accidentally bitten by a genetically-modified spider created by Dr. Curtis Connors. The spider's unique venom triggered a series of profound physiological changes within Alex's body.
These changes manifested as superhuman abilities, including enhanced strength, agility, the ability to cling to walls, and a sixth sense that alerted him to danger. Inspired by the heroism of Spider-Man from his universe's pop culture and driven by a desire to protect his city, Alex took on the mantle of Spider-Man.
