Akious Macklyn was born Primus Immortal, who is the son of Malachai Macklyn, and Anirith. He was born out of lust when his father had a one night stand with a human that was one of Akious' mothers handmaidens. Akious became the leader of the Royal Guard during the Roman era.
Primus Hybrid Physiology: Akious is a primus immortal species granting him more powers than the averge member of each species. Akious can't make other primus immortals unless he passes it on via a son or daughter, but he is capable of transforming an individual into a primus vampire or primus werewolve by feeding a human his blood or biting them.
Akious possesses all the standard powers and abilities of a primus hybrid.

Akious powers and abilities grow stronger with age, blood, or by transforming into his werewolf form.
Blood Consumption: Like all Vampires are regularly required to consume a few pints (litres) of blood every other night. Failing to do so would cause Akious to weaken and after an extended period without blood seemingly perish. Akious' ability to metabolize blood and his frequency of feeding usually varies however depending on a number of factors: Length of time between feedings, damage or injury to the body, resurrection from a near death state, and excessive use of his supernatural abilities and strength.
Silver: Silver is highly harmful for vampires, and werewolves. Silver will not kill Akious but it can stop him enough to trap him.
Desiccation: If Akious is abstain from blood for extended amounts of time he will eventually desiccate into mummification.
Physical Trauma: Minor physical injuries such as gunshots, stab wounds and broken bones will cause Akious pain and also slow him down. However, this is momentary as he will heal completely within seconds, so long as he feeds. It seems physical trauma can hurt Akious anywhere on the body. Breaking Akious' neck will result in unconsciousness until his regenerative healing ability kicks in and repairs the damage to the spinal cord.
Vervain: Primus Immortals are affected by vervain due to it being used to create Malachai. He can't compel anyone on vervain.
Wolfsbane: Primus Immortals are affected by wolfsbane due to it being used to create Malachai.
