Early Life
Adrian Toomes implied that in his youth he was in the Air Force, having mentioned that he used to be in dogfights.
Toomes later started a company called AT Enterprises which built planes and anti-gravity technology. At some point in his life he married his wife Cheryl, with whom he had one daughter, named Valerie.
Quest for Eternal Youth
As Toomes grew older, he began to obsess over his own mortality and his desire to stay young forever. Adrian's obsession with youth led him to experiment with various human test subjects, hoping to find a way to reverse the aging process.
After some time, and thanks to the help of geneticist Miles Warren, he finally encountered some success, as he was able to develop a drug that temporarily made him younger. With his newfound youth, Adrian faked his death and crafted a new identity for himself: that of new CEO of AT Enterprises Arthur Avis.
Becoming the Vulture
Adrian though, was far from pleased, as his serum could only de-age him temporarily. So, using his intellect and resources, he developed a suit that enhanced his physical abilities with a set of metal wings that allowed him to fly. In addition to that, he created a pair of gauntlets that could drain a person's youth and make himself younger. He quickly became a urban legend as he started abducting people to drain their youth and was dubbed "the Vulture" by the media.

Powers
Superhuman Strength: With the use of his magnetic technology, Toomes can provide himself with super-strength, being able to lift a water tank easily.

Genius Intelligence: Toomes is intellectually brilliant in the fields of electronics and mechanical engineering, with a great talent for invention.

Paraphernalia
Equipment:
- Electromagnetic Wing Harness: Vulture's flight harness allows him to fly up to 95 miles per hour. The wings on the flight harness are razor sharp, even able to cut through trees.
- Life-draining Gloves: Vulture also wears gloves that allow him to absorb a person's youth and make himself younger. However, Vulture can only retain a person's youth for a short amount of time.
Transportation: Flight due to the Vulture harness.
Weapons: The Vulture carries some form of plasma pistol and several grenades of unknown types.
