Adam Warlock was created by the Sovereign to be the "perfect being" and to hunt down the Guardians of the Galaxy. However, Warlock eventually had a change of heart and joined the Guardians, becoming one of the universe's greatest heroes. He would later be captured and held captive on Ego by the Cabal, and after being freed, joined the Ultimate Alliance to defeat them.
