During experiments with specific human biological matter provided them by the late Emperor D'Ken, scientists discovered an anomaly within said genetic template which could act as the necessary breakthrough to resume their physiological decline. Having experimented with his X-Gene using an eldritch blend of cosmic superscience and ancient magics from a bygone era, Adam was made to become one of the most powerful mutant chimeras the universe would ever see.
The mystical and military minds behind said project that lead to Adam's conception to be the penultimate god emperor of the Shi'Ar, drove them to do in-depth studies of any supertropical history of his genome doners home planet. As such, they discovered a particularly enticing facet from which hidden sects within the Imperium could emulate and exploit in order to further strengthen their ultimate living weapon. Hearing tell of an ageless human specimen known as Orphelus pertaining to a mythological deadpool containing the blood content of all whom've ever lived and died on said backwater planet, granting advanced longevity to whomever drank from its macabreically enriched sanguine. Chi Mieru Superior Physiology: Adam Neramini Summers was the product of a Shi'ar eugenics project designed to kickstart the Empire's evolution with genetic material harvested from other races. After his human mutant X-gene was tempered using both science and magic, he became the Chi Meiru Superior, with the following abilities granted by his mutant hybridized genetics.
- Pneumatic Bio Combustion: Adam's abilities predominantly focus on the acceleration and ignition of blood within most vertebrate hosts, by sending an electrical charge through the bloodstream of a target, causing spontaneous combustion of electrolytes present within the blood. This power requires the sluice to be exposed to open air first, which he typically achieves by puncturing, goring or cutting the opponents' skin, which Adam accomplishes by cutting or stabbing the target with blades he carries on his person. Adam often applies his power with a verbal trigger, such as the word "Burn," and his eyes glow crimson when he uses his power. The intensity of his powers can vary from just producing a warming sensation to burning or boiling the subject from the inside out within seconds. Providing the targets have already been incised, Adam can apply this power to multiple targets simultaneously, having once stated (during internal monologue) that the effective range of his power could span entire planetary bodies; flash burning every last man, woman and child on and/or off world within its effect radius. Doing so, however, puts tremendous strain upon his physical and mental wellbeing, often leaving Adam in a weakened, nigh-comatose state if pushed to such limits.
- Overlocking: Adam could even turn the burning effect on himself; igniting his own blood causes him a great deal of pain, but in return he gains physical and mental enhancement such as greater speed, strength, endurance, agility, reflexes, and perceptions for a short term. By doing so, Adam can push his movements and take in sensory information at a much greater speed than he normally could achieve under his own power, moving at supersonic speeds. Undergoing this process makes the world seem to stand still to him, which Shi'ar genealogists theorize is a result of the burning blood increasing his blood pressure and triggering an extreme fight or flight response. Adam also hears and thinks several times faster than average brain capacity would allow due to his increased cardiovascular activity.
Being a mutant hybrid whose biotic life map had been overlaid with numerous chromosomal strains; Adam also has the accumulated more passive genetic traits of his donors implemented in his cellular stock. These gifted physiological abilities are far superior to those of ordinary sentient beings of all corners of the island universes, including but not limited to:
- Enhanced Agility: Adam's physical motions are roughly ten to fifteen times that of a normal human, and roughly twenty to thirty-five times beyond that when overclocked.
- Enhanced Reflexes: His reflexes and ability to move and react are far superior to humans, Shi'ar and Mephitisoids, and are greater still when overclocked.
- Enhanced Strength: At his base he can lift about 500 lbs., and when properly jump-started his musculature amps to lift 3,000 lbs.
- Enhanced Regeneration: X's metabolism is able to repair minor to moderate contusions, abrasions, and injuries of all shapes and sizes much faster than a normal sub-optimal specimen, having recovered from certain ailments like fevers or head colds within a few days' time at the most. Other more severe afflictions, such as broken bones or heavy tissue perforation, usually take three or four to mend. He has some difficulty regenerating lost or destroyed bodily anatomy; such as damaged organs & severed appendages. This can be circumvented by applying his mutant power inward to accelerated the healing process, as with everything else. But this also worsens his injured state by burning through his own sanguine reserves at an accelerated rate. The greater the injury, the more risk he causes himself to try and fix things.
- Enhanced Speed: X can run faster and move more seamlessly than the finest human athlete, able to cover a few miles in a matter of minutes. Thrice that distance when he's using his mutant powers upon himself.
- Enhanced Eyesight: Adam can see objects at least a mile and a half away with precise clarity. He can greatly extend that acuity when he overclocks his mind & body.

Jimmy learned he can strengthen himself via empathic stimulus to ramp up his physical & mental capabilities. The Starhearts heir's power is dependent on maintaining a certain emotional state (fear, anger, confidence, loyalty, etc.); should these states be undermined, users normally become weaker and easier to neutralize. This effect of his genetics is largely affected by feelings and moods. This in conjunction with his pheromonal projection, he can also apply this to others' emotional states, enabling him to draw power from their altered moods.

Seeing as it is not subjugated to any limits to modulations made or towards whatever it is that triggers them, whether or not the condition of the setting requires gaining specific abilities that are affiliated with the need to survive or the extent and speed of the adaptation needed. Making the range of options that are available defined only by individual preferences, design and a little creativity on X's part.
- Telempathic Currency Generation: A genetic marker begotten from an unknown genospecies whose prayers crystalized into diamonds had been added to the biostock of Adam's DNA pool in the event he ever needed coin or funds to apply for his every personal need.
