Abin Yinsen (Earth-TRN501003)

Abin Yinsen was a member of the Skrulltian empire a subspecies of martians that lived on the planet Mars. For years his people had been locked in a war with the Kreetian empire which also took part of his planet. At some point in time during the war between the Kreetians and Skrulltians he was found, caught, and captured by the Kreetians.

Sometime later the CEO of Stark Enterprises known as Hal Stark was captured while testing out a jet made by his company. Abin was forced to make sure Stark stayed alive or else both would die and so using his people's technology he created a chest lantern for Hal. Hal when he woke up was horrified to find that his company had been fueling both empires during the war, the Kreetians told Hal that they would kill him if he didn't make them one of his powerful weapons. Hal and Abin in secret decided instead to make Hal a new suit of armor using the chest lantern. However the Kreetians had caught on so with no choice Abin went and sacrificed himself in battle. Abin's sacrifice made Hal even more dedicated to stopping the war between the 2 empires and stopping weapons manufacturing in his company.

Powers

Shapeshifting(Presumably): Due to being a Skrulltian (a amalgamation of DC's Martians and Marvel's Skrulls) it is implied that Abin has at least some sort of shapeshifting.

Abilities

Genius-Level Intellect: Due to Abin helping Hal create the Iron lantern armor and creating the chest lantern that kept Hal alive he must be super smart to do so.
Military Training: Abin was caught and imprisoned as a soldier of war in one of his empire's battles with the Kreetian empire.
