History
Abigail is the daughter of Abraham Whistler, and both she and her father became vampire hunters. She is very similar to herself in Blade Trinity, personality wise. In contrast to the movie universe, her mother is Sarah Adams, who is a Cheyarafim, an angelic race of mutants. She met Abraham during his crusade against vampires, and she decided to join him. Eventually the two fell in love, and they were married.
When Abigail was about 10 yrs. old, Abraham and Sarah came across Deacon Frost and his minions. In the fight, Deacon Frost killed Sarah by cutting off her head. Abraham then killed the rest of the vampires in a rage. Deacon Frost escaped at the end of the battle. Once Abraham arrived at home, he became colder and his drive for hunting vampires increased. Abigail then started her training as a vampire hunter by her father. During that training, she discovered her mother had passed on to her some powers. Abigail has been a dedicated and talented vampire hunter ever since.
When she was in her early teens, Abraham took in Blade, who was in his late teens. Abraham then became his mentor and taught him how to hunt vampires. During that time, Abigail became interested in Eric, but he never sent her any signals back. He eventually left to join the Nightstalkers, while she stayed with her father. Years later while Blade was on pursuit of Deacon Frost, he came across Abigail who was also on Frost's trail. The two then decided to work together, and they eventually fell in love. At the summons of Dracula, the two of them staked him. Abigail felt like she accomplished lifelong mission to avenge her mother's death, and Blade was happy to kill the vampire who killed his mother. The two then got married, and had Abraham Lucas Brooks.
Powers and Abilities
Powers
- Avian Physiology: Due to her mother being a Cheyarafim, Abigail has inherited many natural characteristics of the Cheyarafim except for the wings:
- Aerial Adaptation: Her bones are hollow like a birds, making her weigh far less than usual for a woman of her build. Her body is virtually devoid of fat and possesses greater proportionate muscle mass than an ordinary human does. Her eyes are specially adapted to withstand high-speed winds which would hurt the average human eye. She possesses a special membrane in her respiratory system enabling her to extract oxygen from the air at high velocities or altitudes.
- Peak Human Strength: Due to her body's natural mutation, Abigail possesses greater physical strength than an ordinary human equal to her in body weight and can lift about 600 lbs.
- Superhuman Stamina: Abby's musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human. She can physically exert herself at peak capacity for several hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in her blood begins to impair her.
- Superhuman Durability: The tissues of Abby's body are somewhat harder and more durable than that of an ordinary human, though she is far from invulnerable. While she can be injured in ways comparable to an ordinary human, she can withstand impact forces that would severely injure or kill an ordinary human with only mild to moderate discomfort.
- Regenerative Healing Factor: Abby possesses an accelerated healing factor that enables her to repair damaged tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. She can completely recover from non-fatal injuries such as slash and punctures within a matter of hours and injuries as severe as broken bones within a few days. This ability extends to being transferred by blood, thus she can heal others who come into contact with her blood.
- Vampiric Immunity: This regeneration/her Cheyarafim mutation gives her an immunity to becoming a vampire when bitten. As well, a vampire who drinks her blood will experience extreme pain from her blood.

Abilities
Whistler is a master martial artist proficient in practically every form of weaponry known to man. Her particular specialty is the use of bows and arrows. She is a master in the use of small bladed weapons and can hurl knives with great accuracy. She also shows great skill with firearms, including both automatic and semi-automatic.
