History

89P13, also known as Coonerang, or occasionally "Rocket", was a raccoon who was experimented on by criminal Rocky Harkness. While being experimented on, Rocket's brain began to evolve and expand and he gained knowledge while watching television. Rocky's TV had a wide variety of Australian TV shows, and while he changed he also began to develop a thick Australian accent. Rocket eventually gained enough knowledge to escape, becoming a master criminal like his former owner. On his adventures, Coonerang met Diablo, a sentient tree bonded to a fiery demon spirit. The two became partners, but were eventually captured by the U.S. Army.

Eventually Amanda Fury decided she needed to come up with a plan to protect the world. In doing so, she created a team filled with criminals like Rocket and his partner, now known as Treeablo, called the Suicide Guardians. Rocket and Treeablo eventually grew to like the team and stayed on, where they would go on to fight villains like Sinestron and Doomatus (Doom-A-Tus).
